  • .25 cup Brown Sugar
  • .25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 cups Ketchup

Black Bean Fried Rice

  • 1.5 cups Sesame Oil
  • 1.5 cups Yellow Onions, Small Dice
  • .5 cup Garlic, Fresh, Minced
  • 12 cups Brown Rice, Cooked, Cooled
  • 1.5 cups Carrots, Julienne
  • .75 cup Kimchi, Sliced
  • 9 cups Bush's Best® Easy Entrées® Taco Fiesta Black Beans, Drained
  • 2 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper

Bibimbap Garnish

  • 4 cups Cucumbers, Fresh, Thin-Sliced Half Moon
  • 10 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 cups Scallions, Thin-Sliced
  • 2 cups Cilantro, Fresh, Chopped

Gochujang Ketchup

  • .5 cup Gochujang
  • .25 cup Brown Sugar
  • .25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 cups Ketchup

Black Bean Fried Rice

  • 1.5 cups Sesame Oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. GOCHUJANG KETCHUP: Whisk together all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well incorporated.
  2. BLACK BEAN FRIED RICE: Place a large wok or non-stick sauté pan over high heat. Add sesame oil, onions, and garlic.
  3. Sauté, stirring constantly for 1–2 minutes until beginning to caramelize.
  4. Add rice, stirring frequently, until rice begins to caramelize and get slightly crispy.
  5. Stir in carrots and kimchi. Incorporate beans. Cook until beans are heated through.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed and hold hot.
  7. PRESENTATION: For one serving, place 1 cup of black bean fried rice into a serving bowl.
  8. Top with 2 Tbsp sliced cucumbers, 1 tsp sesame seed, 1 Tbsp scallion, 1 Tbsp cilantro, and 1 fried egg.
  9. Drizzle each bowl with 1 Tbsp of gochujang ketchup and serve immediately.
