Protein Power Grilled Cheese
Give them lunchtime fuel with a hearty, protein-packed grilled cheese sandwich. American cheese joins company with lightly smashed Bush's® Best® Texas Ranchero Pinto Beans between perfectly griddled whole wheat bread slices. Crispy apple slices on the side complete the meal.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices Whole wheat bread
- 1 tsp Cooking spray (Canola oil)
- 2 slices Kraft Singles 2% Milk Reduced Fat
- 1 Tbsp Bush’s Best® Texas Ranchero Pinto Beans (smashed)
- 1/4 Apple, sliced
INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices Whole wheat bread
- 1 tsp Cooking spray (Canola oil)
- 2 slices Kraft Singles 2% Milk Reduced Fat
- 1 Tbsp Bush’s Best® Texas Ranchero Pinto Beans (smashed)
- 1/4 Apple, sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Spray wheat bread with cooking spray on one side.
- On the non-sprayed side add cheese on one side and smear smashed beans on the other side.
- In a hot non-stick pan, toast each side of bread until cheese inside is fully melted.
- Serve with sliced apples.
