Firecracker Fiesta Mac & Cheese
This rich, creamy mac and cheese offers an explosion of zesty flavor with Bush’s Best® Easy Entrées® Taco Fiesta® Black Beans, pickled jalapeños, fresh green onions and crushed cheese-flavored tortilla chips to top it off. INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ lb Bush’s Best® Easy Entrées® Taco Fiesta® Black Beans
- 4 ½ lb mac & cheese cheddar sauce
- 3 lb mini shells pasta, cooked
- 1 ½ cups green onions, fresh, chopped
- 1 cup, divided, pickled jalapeños (set aside ¼ cup for garnish)
- ¾ cup cheese flavored tortilla chips, crushed
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ lb Bush’s Best® Easy Entrées® Taco Fiesta® Black Beans
- 4 ½ lb mac & cheese cheddar sauce
- 3 lb mini shells pasta, cooked
- 1 ½ cups green onions, fresh, chopped
- 1 cup, divided, pickled jalapeños (set aside ¼ cup for garnish)
- ¾ cup cheese flavored tortilla chips, crushed
DIRECTIONS
- Warm beans to a slight simmer (or above 160 degrees F).
- Warm mac & cheese cheddar sauce and fold in freshly cooked al dente pasta shells.
- Add in fresh chopped green onions and pickled jalapeños. Mix well.
- To plate, place two scoops of green onion-jalapeño mac & cheese into a bowl, about 10 oz. Top with black beans and garnish with crushed tortilla chips and extra jalapeños. Serve immediately.
